Evening with Industry
EWI is a bi-annual networking dinner event designed to facilitate meaningful conversations between students and company representatives, providing opportunities for students to gain insights into various industries.
SWE++
SWE++ is a 10-week coding class taught by SWE members to middle school girls, designed to inspire and educate the next generation of female coders.
WOW! That’s Engineering
WOW! That’s Engineering is our annual conference for over 100 high school girls, featuring keynote speakers, workshops, panels, socials, and more.
Events
Our Events Committee is dedicated to organizing a variety of events focused on professional development, social gatherings, our mentorship program, and alumni interactions to engage our community.
Professional Development
Our Professional Development Committee organizes opportunities, such as technical workshops and the Shadow an Engineer program, for students to gain real-world experience and enhance their professional skills.
Mentorship
Our Mentorship Committee pairs experienced SWE members with new members to provide guidance on their major, college life, and more, fostering meaningful connections and supportive relationships within SWE.
Public Relations
Our PR Committee focuses on enhancing SWE’s visibility and engagement through designing social media posts and swag, coordinating Instagram story takeovers, and handling event promotion.
Fundraising
Our Fundraising Committee develops innovative fundraising initiatives by collaborating with third-party services, budgeting for events, and selling apparel, ensuring the financial stability and growth of SWE.
Outreach
Our Outreach Committee engages K-12 and community college students by connecting them with local STEM clubs, events, and groups, and finding volunteers to attend them, inspiring the next generation of engineers.
Webmaster
Our Webmaster Committee maintains and enhances the SWE website, ensuring timely updates with sponsors, internal and outreach events, and more, keeping the website dynamic and user-friendly.
